The NX Zen wing is intentionally narrow so that it does not protrude from the side of the tank. This offers advantages in improving buoyancy control, reducing entanglement risks, and significantly reducing drag; in fact, lower drag improves our gas consumption, allowing for longer and safer dives. Traditional wings have a large central “dead zone.” No air cell, just fabric. By using this space more effectively, we have considerably reduced the dead zone while decreasing the overall size of the wing.

The narrowness of the wing makes buoyancy control more precise. The shape of the wing also adds stability (due to reduced air migration) and easier trim adjustment. When exploring a wreck or a coral reef, you need to be free from entanglement. This is the strength of the NX ZEN design. Like the NX Project, the NX ZEN is free of threads and gaskets. The material is resistant to any force, and the direct welding of the inflator to the wing ensures a robust and direct connection for maximum performance. The wing also features a lower “dead zone.” The air circulation around the wing and the tank is more efficient and balanced to help you achieve perfect trim.
