The 5mm K01 hood is reversible: it can therefore be used in any season or diving environment. By using the smooth side against the skin, you will have maximum thermal insulation, ideal for diving in cold water, with long stays, or during winter. By turning the hood inside out, it can be used with the lined side against the head to facilitate wearability and for diving in temperate waters or during the summer.

Used in this mode, it dries immediately once out of the water, making it ideal for boat transfers even when outside temperatures are rigid, thanks to the absence of external lining. The special Japanese HAYATO neoprene, combined with the special face shaping, allows the Spyder hood to be "SELF-FITTING": this means that once worn, no further adjustments will be necessary. Furthermore, the absence of through-stitching eliminates water entry, making the hood extremely warm, comfortable, and elastic. The hood is equipped with a double transverse hole for air discharge to allow air expelled through the mask to escape but not let water in.
